Iseng ngeblog lagi, sambil nyari gawe

Postingan ini saya buat sambil browsing nyari lowongan kerja. Saya ikut beberapa website yang menawarkan kemudahan applying job. But still, blom ada juga yang nyanthol. Sempet berpikir untuk me-monetize da blog. Tapi untuk sampai ke level itu, keknya saya harus belajar nulis yang bagus. Itung-itung belajar jurnalistik, ga asal nulis sehingga ntar2nya malah kena pelanggaran UU ITE. Seremnya, saat kita ingin belajar berdemokrasi, mengutarakan pendapat dengan bebas, malah masuk penjara.

Eniwei, ternyata nyari kerja tuh ribet. Apalagi untuk seorang lulusan ilmu kelautan seperti saya yang lowongannya ga berceceran. Siap2 mantengin iklan yang terbuka untuk semua jurusan, which is ga selalu menerima calon karyawan dari semua jurusan (hiks! pengalaman pribadi, daftar MT sebuah perusahaan yang akhirnya tersingkir karena jurusannya terlalu 'ga nyambung'). Blom lagi ada peraturan membuat CV dan cover letter yang ga da abis2-nya dipelajari biar bisa lolos dari penyaringan berkas. Stres yang dirasakan semakin meningkat setelah tau, kemungkinan CV kita lolos hingga dapat dipanggil wawancara bisa sampe berbulan-bulan lamanya. Tapi kita ga boleh menyerah dong... Jalan pasti ada. Yang penting tetap pertahankan atau tambah network, supaya kali2 aja, ada yang nawarin kerjaan enak bergaji gedhe dan halal... Weleh-weleh....

So, apa yang bakal saya lakukan untuk membunuh waktu menganggur ini? Paling tidak saya tetep mengaktifkan kerja otak. Tetep mengikuti perkembangan di dunia lingkungan dan kelautan, belajar desain, atau setidaknya belajar sotoshop dan software2 lainnya yang bisa menunjang kegiatan berkreatif, serta tak lupa rajin browsing dan baca koran. Yang ada malah mengikuti perkembangan dunia perfilman (utamanya Hollywood, karena film Indonesia keknya mencapai kondisi ga bermutunya dengan jarang beredarnya film2 yang layak tonton lagi seperti AADC, Laskar pelangi dan you name it asal bukan Perawan Keramas ato judul film komedi ato horor yang menjurus itu...).

what we must aware is the trend of research all people around the world doin' is these... i just read it from phdcomic.com which i think is quite true... especially within the global warming issue. as you can see, the paper with environmnetal issue such as carbon, climate and sustainability begin increasing and reach its peak on 2000s. do you understand what i'm saying? no..? good... its pointless anyway... enjoy! 

Judul lagu itu Technicolour

Udah pernah liat iklan salah satu merek ponsel terkenal dari Korea? Itu tuh... Yang bintang iklannya Nicholas Saputra ma Dian Sastro...? Desain ponselnya bagus, didominasi ma warna2 cerah. Saya jadi kepingin, berhubung doku-nya ga nyampe, jadi nabung dulu seh (dan ngantri bersama deretan daftar benda yang pengen saya pingini abad ini seperti laptop, kamera DSLR dan PDA). Tapi yang mw saya bahas sekarang bukan wishlist saya, tapi jingle iklannya.

Lagunya ear catchy. Karena jingle iklan itulah saya berburu informasi dari mbah google dan youtube.com. Dan ketemulah judulnya, Technicolour, sung by Paloma Faith. Saat pertama baca, saya kira Paloma Faith adalah judulnya, sedangkan penyanyinya band bernama Technicolour. Nama Paloma Faith asing di telinga saya. Bahkan awalnya saya pikir yang menyanyikan lagu ini Lilly Allen yang rada mirip tone2-nya. Dari lagunya saya tebak penyanyinya adalah seorang Inggris (ada yang ngeBrit di lagu ini, coba deh dirasa pas mendengarnya). Ternyata waktu saya baca biodatanya dari wikipedia, doski emang seorang Inggris keturunan Spanyol, dan suaranya emang ada kemiripan ma Amy Winehouse ato Duffy (dan bukannya Lilly Allen, Dude!). Lagunya enak buat manggut-manggut ato jingkrak-jingkrik. Coba deh....

Valkyrie - July 20, 1944 plot

There's not so many story about the (attempt of) assasination of Hitler. There's few I know. One of them was then made into motion picture. You can read the synopsis from iMDB or wikipedia. Since I'm doing nothing beside sending my CV all over the universe (hyperbolic :b), I watch it with a very small budget for renting the movie. When everybody is recommending 2012, I prefer to see it.

There's so many stories behind the scene. Maybe you'd hear some, that the cast for Colonel von Stauffenberg, Tom Cruise was rejected by everybody who idolize the Colonel, and also many Germany and the Colonel's family member, due to the actor's adherence to Scientology. The permit to take a shot in the Blenderblock is not easy also. But in the end, we still able to watch the movie.

This movie is highly recomended. Since I like to see war-theme movie (you can see humanity among the bloody fight, I think this is the movie-maker's purpose beside "there's no good at war"), this movie told me there's some German who have different point of view from Hittler. Not all German was like him. Some refreshment while learning history, instead of seeing low quality movie in cinema nowadays (except 2012 which is good but I find no interest at all). 4 out of 5.
